We were not pleased with the installation after a closer inspection. The door is almond color and there is a two inch black PLASTIC (not durable) under the base of the door that is very visible and stands out even if viewing from the street. I called the technician to come back out, and I was told the concrete was uneven which was caused the plastic to be exposed. However, the door that was replaced was flush to the concrete. If there is a slight unleveling, the door should be flush to the part of the concrete that is not unleveled. I asked the plastic be replaced with an almond colored rubber…still waiting for a response. My mistake for not calling more companies, but I did not think replacing a garage door would be this problematic. FB IG BBB

They may know what they are doing but the prices are way too much for something most guys can do themselves. I just got the estimate and sent him on his way.

Get a second opinion before using these guys. My local guy in Dublin was $250 and precision quoted me over $850. Doesn't even make good sense. Won't call these guys again.

I feel I was robbed! The technician did not have to repair anything, just move a sensor in place and that cost me $95+ . I understand paying the service fee, but there was no repair needed and yet I was charged because he touched the sensor. On top of that, I was charged tax, when there is no tangible item to tax, no product. I am very disappointed. Again there was NO REPAIR NEEDED I! I am required to enter one on this review

We appreciate you calling Precision to service your garage door. We hate to see that you felt like you received once star service because of the agreed upon price. Your invoice was reviewed and our service manager did offer to refund you the F/S/E/D charge. That is not a sales tax, it is a fuel surcharge that most service companies charge their customers. It is to help cover some of the cost of doing business by fueling our fleet of vehicles. Again, we are sorry that you were disappointed but we wanted to make sure it was clear that you were charged a service fee for the service provided and you were not charged any kind of sales tax. If you have further questions, please reach back out to our service manager. Thank you for your business.

Was charged for work I didn’t know I was being charged for. Also the price for repair was ridiculous! Could have gotten two new garage door openers for the cost of the repair. Would not recommend this service to my worst enemy.

We appreciate your business and you taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to see that you feel as though you received one star service. Thank you for speaking with our service manager, as he wanted to discuss the service call with you and see where the confusion was taking place. You called for us to service your door because of a broken spring. The technician did an inspection on your door and provided you with three quotes, and you selected the cheaper of the three options, which would repair your spring and do some general maintenance on the door. The other quotes provided to you included pricing for an opener and that opener cost is more than the cost of the repair you agreed upon. There is never a time when we will perform work on a customer's garage door without them approving the work that was recommended. Customer satisfaction is our main goal and we are sorry that we were not able to make you 100% satisfied. If you have further questions about your service, please call and speak to the service manager again.

When I called, i was told they could replace the sprocket in the motor. The tech showed up and looked everything over. He found 3 issues with the motor with the sprocket being one of them. He suggested that I replace the unit. I told him I am unable to at this time and ask him to just replace the sprocket so the door will open and close. He said no, it wont work. Even though that is what broke. So here I am with a door opener that doesn't work and $60 ,in the hole. The tech was knowledgable. Just felt like it was all about the up charge. I also understand the fix would not have fixed all of the issues.

I have used overhead doors for many years and have been satisfied with your service. However for this repair I feel that I have been ripped off. Your repairman changed springs and bearings. I was charged 961.00, The most expensive spring I could find online was 59.00. I feel that I was severely overcharged. Qill never again do business with your company. Will also leave negative reviews on asst. websites.

I received an estimate and paid 25% down on Sept. 20, 2024. It is now October, 9th and I have not heard an update or been contacted to schedule work.
